Safe Mode

I having a problem starting in Safe Mode. Help and Support tells me to go
to start and select shutdown and from the drop down menu select shutdown.
There is no Shutdown in my start menu! If I run Msconfig and select
diagnostic mode is that the same thing as safe mode?

Run msconfig..go to boot.ini tab and check safeboot. Don't forget to uncheck
it before you reboot.

Under the BOOT.INI tab there is a SafeBoot check box. THAT'S Safe Mode.
