I think you need a ENGLISH one also!

Hi, Marc. A Google search using the term "Russian dictionary for MS
Word" brings me over 62,000 links. A lot of them look like they will
give you what you want.

Cheers,

Malke

For MS Word:
Proofing Tools (that in addition to spelling and grammar do include
translation Dictionaries) and also separate Dictionaries -
for any language - is a commercial product, you need to _buy_ it.

Proofing Tools - I know for sure that only commercial products exist.
As for separate Dictionaries - don't know for sure, but did not see
any freeware of that type.
Here are the corresponding links:

http://www.digitallanguage.com/products/dictionaries/index.htm
and from that choose one from the left side list

http://www.orfo.ru/ - click on the British flag icon at the top
right to see an English variant of their page.

Another source that I would try is Promt. They have a decent on-line
translator and also sell software versions of it. But the best part is if
you write them and ask for something special, they probably already have it
or have links to it. They have helped me out alot on Russian and Ukrainian
items.

Right. I did not mention them because the question was about
dictionary to be used _in MS Word_.

OK Paul,
I missed that reference totally when I was answering the question. I think,
that some time ago, they did send me a word dictionary, but it might have
been for like the custom dictionary that you create.
I must say you have a very interesting web page that has a great source
of information that was interesting to see. I think that I was told about
you while I was in St. Petersburg (9 months and Moscow-4 months) on a
project assignment putting in what is called the Soventel Network (Business
data and voice via satellite) I would like to go back, but this time with a
much better understanding of the language as St. Petersburg and Kiev
(Ukraine) and also Prague are my three most favorite places to go and hope
to go this summer for holiday.
Anyway thank you for the correction !
