RUNTIME ERROR

I woke this morning, turned on my computer and found this error message

MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRAR
RUNTIME ERRO
Program: c:\program files\common files\updmgr\updmgr.ex

THIS APPLICATION HAS REQUESTED THE RUNTIME TO TERMINATE IT IN AN UNUSUAL WAY

Please contact the applicatons support team for more information

Can someone help me?

Hi,

That's not a WinXP system file - and I'm not exactly sure where it comes
from. It is suspicious none-the-less. Locate the file in the indicated
folder and right-click it, select properties. See if the tabs tell you where
it came from. I would also run msinfo32 from a start/run prompt and see
where it was loading from, and possibly disable it.
