Runtime error in Outlook 2002 when switching users in WinXP Pro

I am running Windows XP Professional SP2 and Office XP Professional.

The following problem existed before SP2 so that is NOT the cause!

When I log on and run Outlook 2002 it works fine. If another user - e.g.
spouse - then uses the switch user option in WinXP and logs on and tries to
run Outlook 2002 to check HER email, she gets the error message that there is
a runtime error in C:\Progra~\MICROS~2\Office10\OUTLOOK.EXE - abnormal
program termination.

This will also happen even if she logs me OFF so she is the only user logged
on to the machine.

If she closes the error window and clicks the Outlook icon again, the
program works fine.

If I then switch users back to me and run Outlook 2002, I then get the same
error message but resolve the problem by closing the error window and
re-clicking Outlook 2002 icon.

This is very annoying!

Any ideas as to what is causing this to happen and HOW TO SOLVE IT so there
is no runtime error on switching users?

Is Nortons on your system?
This error is caused by the NIS 2004 Anti-spam COM Add-in.
Start Outlook in Safe Mode and disable the add-in. Restart Outlook in normal
mode,
the add-in is re-checked. Removing the add-in also does not help.
When we rename the add-in file MsouPlug.dll for Anti-Spam (located in
C:\Program
Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\Antispam), the error does not reoccur.
