runtime error cidaemon.exe

I keep getting this error every 5 minutes when using my computer. It pops up
saying microsoft visual C++ runtime library Runtime error! program
c:\windows\system32\cidaemon.exe R6025 - pure virtual function call

Any suggestions what it could be and how to cure it.
