Running Outlook in the Background

J

Jen

I was wondering if there was a way to run Outlook in the
background while I am working on other things. I would
like it to appear as an icon next to the clock and not as
a minimized window on the taskbar. Is this possible?
Thank you!

That's a nice feature.

But what we need now is a contextmenu or a right click menu on that systray
icon; one that has send/recieve link, folders links, that would really be
great.

Well there is a context menu for the Outlook 2003 Notification Area icon
unfortunately the option "Compose New E-mail" isn't available. I really hope
for ths feature. You can however suggest it so the developers can consider
it for future updates/upgrades or add-ins.
