Running AS as *NONADMIN*

A

Alex

I cannot save my settings, and get the annoying (alert/BHO) popups that I
cannot dismiss, when running as an account that is not local administrator.
I installed MSAS as this user, however, first elevated privileges to local
admin, then after installation returned to member of "users" group.

This must have to do with a registry key that I cannot access as the
unprivileged user.

Anyone help?

A Web browser object is a program that can change Internet Explorer
settings. This change generally occurs when software is installed. You can
allow this change if it is recognized and expected.

The current product is not designed to be run as nonadmin.

Microsoft is fully aware that this is not what the customers need. Look for
changes in this area in beta2.
