Running 2 access versions at work

I wrote a system in Access 97 that we use at work. The IT dept put Access
2003 on my boss's computer because of a new program they had. Now my boss
cannot run my system. Isn't there a way to make it so my boss can have
Access 97 and Access 2003 on their computer and Access will know which
version it should use. The other option is for me to convert my system to
Access 2003 but I do not have time to do it right now and it is a much easier
solution at the moment for my boss just to run 2 versions.

Running 2 versions is possible? Are there any unusual circumstances it
would cause?

Thank you for your help.

Running two versions is possible but Windows will not just automatically know
which one to use. In fact it will always assume that the last version of Access
used is the one to use the next time so you basically have to abandon the
practice of opening files by double clicking them. You either have to open the
desired version of Access first and then open the desired file from the menu or
create custom shortcuts that specify which version of Access to open.

Unless it is unusual, it should take all of 30 seconds to convert your file to
2003. You just open it with 2003 and when Access asks if you want to convert it
you say yes.

There are 3rd party products available that will determine which version of
Access is appropriate, and open the database in that version. Check
