rundll32.exe error

hi, i get this error message "rundll32.exe has generated
some errors and will be closed" It happens when I go to
change the background on the desktop. Now my desktop
background is half white and half paradise.

please help.

Just a guess...
Are you attempting to apply an image other than a valid .BMP while
Active Desktop is not being used?
