I believe that a file was removed when the beta test
spyware cleaned my files.
The error message said that
C:\Progra~1\NEWDOT~1\NEWDOT~2.DLL
is missing.
Where do I find this to replace it?

Newdot is spyware, something was wrong in the cleaner process.

You dont want that file back.

Either take Plun's advice, which is fine, or re-scan with Microsoft
Antispyware, which should find this remnant entry and remove it.

Simple fix. From MS AS, click Advanced Tools->System
Explorers->Startup Programs. This will list all startup
programs found in the registry. Delete the value for this
particular file. That simple.

Should also be found under Start > Run > MSCONFIG > Startup (tab) under
startup items.
