run outlook without email

I previously set up Outlook to run the calendar and the address book without
using it for email. I had to reinstall it recently and i cannot remember how
to set it up this way. can anyone help with this?
Thanks

Thanks Vince.

I did that but there seems to be a conflict with Novell groupwise. I'm doing
this on a tablet PC that was provided by my employer. I had it set up and
running well for a year, but had to get a new hard drive and then had to
reinstall outlook.

When I open Outlook to use the calendar and contacts (so i can sync with my
smartphone and personal pc), Novell asks me for the Novell password and then
outlook tries to be the email program. Outlook shows all my groupwise emails
from work even though it is not listed the email accounts list. I told
Outlook that I didn't want it to be the default email program too.

I recall that there was some sort of "email only" setting that I selected
when i set it up last year and it worked successfully. But I cannot find that
selection now.

Thanks,

Whoops! I meant there was a "Calendar Only" or "No email" option when setting
it up.
Thanks

Close outlook. Go to control panel, mail and set up a new profile. Click
cancel on the email address and password screen that comes up. Set this
profile as your default.
