Rules no longer are valid

Hello,
I have several workstations in a domain. The domain controller is Server
2003 with Exchange 2003. I currently revamped my test station with a fresh
install of Windows Vista Beta 2 Build 5384. I also installed Office 12 Beta 2
public release.

After I installed office I opened outlook. Outlook reported that it was
initializing and setting up account information. Once it completed all my
mail from the exchange server was present. I connected to a shared .PST file
that I also use on my main work station which is located in a network share.

The problem I am now having is that the rules that I had set up on my XP
station no longer work. In fact I receive an error that says “Your stored
rules appear to have a bad format.†When I click ok, the rules wizard
disappears it no longer let me into the rules at all.

I changed the default data store on the Vista machine, shut down Outlook on
the XP machine and then ran the PST repair Tool. No luck. I still can't get
into my rules and they don't run at all.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not sure if it is the server rules or the
local rules that were corrupted during the upgrade process.

Yes... I've seen this problem, too. But no solution yet.

Since you are running a beta application on a beta operating system, I would
assume your Exchange server is a test server, too. Whew.
