RTHDCPL.EXE & KB925902

Today we tested the installation of the latest security update (KB925902)
for Windows XP and 2000. Unfortunately we are having a compatibility problem
with the RealTek audio software used on all of our HP workstations. The
error is:

RTHDCPL.EXE - Illegal System DLL Relocation
The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not
run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL
C:\Windows\System32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for
Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a
new DLL.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Tony

Thank you. It is unfortunate that there is no mention of a re-issuance of
the original security update.
I guess we will need to silently install this hotfix once the original
security update is applied.
