Where did you get the Lexmark X75 driver from? The lexmark web site/CD
shipped with the printer/or automatically installed using plug-n-play be
windows? If you got it with your printer, try going to Lexmark's web site
and see if they have an updated driver.
Does the problem happen only while printing from on app, or even while
installing the driver or printing the text page?

There are a few things you can do to fix the problem.
1. To see if your printer/driver is installed properly, open the printers
folder and see if the printer appears. If other printers appear and this one
doesn't, then it has not been installed. If no printer appears, then either
the spooler service is stopped, or this printer is not installed. To restart
the spooler service, open the command console (start->run->cmd) and type
"net start spooler". Now refresh the printers folder. Do you see the
printer? Go back to the command console and type "net start again". What
does it say" The spooler service is already started or does it try to start
it again. If it tries to restart spooler, then it means your driver is
crashing the spooler.
2. Go to c:\windows\system32\spoo\drivers\printers and delete all the files
from the folder and re-start the spooler service. If the spooler remains
started, it means one of your previous print jobs was causing the problem.
3. See if there is a print processor associated with the driver. To check
that out, right click the printer in the printers folder, choose
Properties->Advanced->Print Processor. Which print processor is associated
with the driver? If it is anything other than winprint, change it to
winprint.

Let me know if that fixes your problem. If not, I can give other hints.
