RPC ERROR

Hi there,

Few days back i was on the internet and suddenly i got a
message on the screen saying that The Remote Procedure
Call (RPC) failed and the system will shutdown to
restart. After restarting again the same message re
appeared and the my system rebooted again.

What i did was i went to to services, went to the
properties of the RPC under recovery i chose take no
action and after that it stopped restarting everytime.

I have a dial up connection for the internet, i can
connect to the internet without any problems. But when i
want to disconnect the connection, it jus does not get
disconnected unless i reboot the pc. Also if i try to go
to the services and i click to go to the properties of
any service the pc jus freezes up.

Would really appreciate your help!! Please assist.

Sorry for the canned response, but it sounds like your
PC's been infected by W32.Blaster.Worm. Look here for
