Rounding Cell Corners

I'm trying to round the corners on cells in my website, but I'm having trouble. When I try to round all four corners the top and bottom of the site automatically make a black header and footer. When I try to change the coller of the header and footerthe corners stay black. I tried to uncheck the header and footer box, but the cell just went back to having square corners. All I want is a rounded cell that is all one color. Help!

Thank you,
Sam

To color the corners:

1. Select the Layout Cell, so the small box at the top
of the cell shows its size.
2. In the Cell Formatting task pane, click
Cell Corners and Shadows.
3. Under Corners, set Color to the main color
you want, and Border Color to the edge color
you want.
4. Click the Apply icon for each corner you want to
change.

To color the top and bottom border, continue as follows:

5. At the top of the Cell Formatting task pane, click
Cell Header And Footer.
6. Under Header:
o Set BgColor to the background color you want.
o Set Border Color to the edge color you want.
7. Under Footer:
o Set BgColor to the background color you want.
o Set Border Color to the edge color you want.

FWIW, I find it easier not to use Layout Cells at all.
Instead, I:
1. Use a picture editor to draw a solid circle.
2. Cut and past each of the four corners.
3. Save each corner as a picture and add the four
pictures to my Web.
4. Draw a 3x3 table.
5. Put the four corner pictures in the four corner
table cells.
6. Set the background color in the four "side" cells.

If the "side" cells are too wide or tall for the corner
pictures, switch to a very small font size such as:

<td style="font-size:1px;">&nbsp;</td>
