Roaming Profiles & network printers

Craig

Hello all. I've got a variety of Windows PCs (Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP)
all running in a Windows 2000 domain environment. I've been using roaming
profiles, but am considering changing. I've had a lot of problems with
mapped network printers no appearing on different workstations other than
the one where I origionally setup the printer. Do the network printers not
follow with the profile?

Thanks in advance!

SYMPTOMS
When you are using a roaming profile and you log on to a computer that has
a local printer, you might not see all of your network printer connections.
CAUSE
The Printers interface is designed to hide network printers that are
already installed as local printers. In some situations this mechanism
hides printers that are not installed locally.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000.

They should....how are the printers networked? With internal print servers
assigned a TCP/IP address, shared from the server?
