Ripping trouble

I have 3 CDs that I copied from my home computer using WMP 11 using "drag and
drop". I wanted to "rip" them onto my office PC, also WMP 11. But, when I
insert the disk into my office PC the dialogue box that pops up does not
offer the "rip" option. When I select the "play" option in the dialogue box
the CD plays fine, but when I select the "rip" tab a message pops up telling
me to insert a CD into the drive.......even though the CD is playing. What
have I done wrong? (just on these CDs, not my whole life) There were 7 CDs
in this set and I have done this with other CDs by this same author with no
problems

Probably DRM - Digital Rights Management.
You can't use DRM'd files in this fashion.
You'll have to burn them to an
Audio CD and re-rip as unprotected files.
