right click to save image format

On anyone else's machine, when right click to save an
image the correct format appears in the save window. i.e.
jpg or gif. On my machine any image I try to save saves
as a bmp. Does anyone know how I can change this, there
must be save as preferences somewhere?

Try to clear the Temporary Internet Files folder. In addition this MS KB
