right click shortcuts don't work

I couldn't find a newsgroup for IE7 (not in English) so I'm hoping someone
here can help. I'm on IE7 and Vista Home Premium Gateway laptop. I
reinstalled the OEM vista and now when I open the browser and right click a
link and click on 'open in new
tab' nothing happens. None of the shortcuts work, not even Properties. I've
googled this for an hour and didn't come up with anything. Since this is an
OEM install, I don't see IE in the Add/delete box so can't repair it. Any
suggestions?

microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general. If you must make identical posts
to multiple newsgroups, please cross-post one (1) message to all of them.
