right click--> open link is new window--> not opening the page.

Hi,

when i try to right click on a link --> open link is new window. it opens a
new IE window but nothing comesup. one strange thing is.....

you see a small white box on the top right corner which has the IE flag,
that streaches to the left most and the IE flag is in the top centre of the
window and page tries to load up but never comesup with any content,

when i close all the windows and tries to open up it seems to be working,

one other thing strange thing i see on my comp is, when i open up my compter
and double clicko n C-drive or D-drive, they dont open up....... I feel these
two are some where linked to each other, i feel my computer is infected. i
did a virus scan and found a virus and it is cleaned by My stupid Mcafee(
which i feel is not working to the max)

little info about how i use my comp...i have almost 10-15 windows always
open while i am working on my comp...

Hi ashok

You don't mention the version of WIndows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:

Go to Start>Run> and register the following dll's by using
regsvr32 command. Try the first 2, then see if it resolves the problem. If
not then register the rest of the .dll's:

regsvr32 urlmon.dll
regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 scrrun.dll
regsvr32 msxml.dll
regsvr32 mshtml.dll
regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 browseui.dll
regsvr32 msjava.dll
