restoring my computer to its original state

hi there am trying to restore my computer to it's original state (as when i
bought it) i have an eMachines with windows xp, and have the original restore
CD's. it asked me to put restore cd(3) in and restart my pc', the if i would
like to restore from disc or hard drive, if i choose disc it asks for command
prompts(which i dont know) - if i choose hard drive it restores from last
restore point (which is not what im after .... can anyone help? or let me
know the steps to restore my computer as it was from day i bought it?) p.s
have nothing on that needs saving so not bottered about losing anythin of it,
