restore start menu?

i accidentally deleted a bunch of shortcuts from my start menu. ( i was
using a system mechanic cleanup tool) for instance the start menu folder for
accessories is missing. is there a way to restore or reinstall my start menu
so all those shortcuts come back?

oh if you mean system restore, i tried that but it did not have any effect
on my start menu. any other ideas?

Documents and Settings/All Users/Start Menu/Programs

thanks for trying.

that zip file restored the shortcuts in the start menu folder, but it did
not restore the shortcuts on the start menu itself. for instance, when I try
to add the accessories folder to the start menu using the 'customize' tab on
the start menu properties window, it puts a shortcut to the folder in the
start menu, but there is no drop down menu from it with all the individual
accessory shortcuts (you know the little arrow to the right of the folder
icon).

Hold on a minute.....I don't know why I didn't catch this the first time.
There isn't an Accessories folder off of the Start Menu, never was.
Accessories is off of All Programs. You may be speaking of Admin Tools.
