Restore Points are Gone

P

Till yesterday things seemed to go south, but today
looks like the evil knocked on my door. I have had
several Restore Points on my PC. Once I opened
Windows "System Restore" Program, all the RPs were gone.
What's going on? I did make nothing unusual on my PC
recently. I opened merely the System Volume Information
folder, run the "Ashampoo WinOptimizer Suite" (does work
very reliable, so I exclude it as the causer), the
daughter played a game (under my control). All do run
perfectly on my machine to date, except those goofy, gone
RPs.
Have anyone an idea, what the cause of that could be?

Richy;
The System Volume Information is the system Restore Points.
Also Ashampoo WinOptimizer Suite sounds just like the type of
application that has caused loss of Restore Points.

Many other things can cause loss of Restore Points, when they are
gone, they are gone and can not be recovered or used.
Some of the things are:
Available space on hard drive
Computer usage
Space you dedicate to System Restore

If you use Real Player, try doing without it for a few days:

And others.
