restart after hibernation

I have XP professionnal up to date with SP2 and all updates.
I settle the hibernation to start after 15 minutes of inactivity and it
works.
When I want to restart I arrive to a blue screen with an hourglass working.
If I press again to the restart button it works.
I would be very happy if somebody can help me on this issue
