Resolve "contains automatic links to..." message

I am using Excel 2000.
I cut and pasted worksheets from file 1 into file 2.
When I save and then open file 2 I get the message "The workbook you opened
contains automatic links to information in another workbook..."
The content I cut and pasted was simply text and numeric values, no
formulas, etc.
How can I disable these links?

goto edit>links>change source
