Resizing Pictures

After I installed Microsoft Power Toys, I was able to
resize a picture or several pictures at once with
multiple file extensions, now it will resize only in bmp
or a tif image, does anyone know how to reconfigure this
program to select all picture file types.
I have un-installed and re-installed this program a
couple of times; but no results.
