If you are getting 6 Orange/Green blinks of the LED then this is a waste ink
copunter full condition.
You can reset it like this:
1) With the printer turned off, hold down the RESUME button and press and hold
the POWER
button (the green indicator lights).
2) While holding down the POWER button, release the RESUME button and then
press the
RESUME button twice in succession. Then release both the RESUME button and
POWER button.
(Each time the RESUME button is pressed, the indicator's color toggles between
orange and
green.)
3) During the printer initialization, the green indicator blinks. When the
green indicator stops
blinking and comes on solid, press the RESUME button 3 times to execute the
waste ink counter
reset. (Each time the RESUME button is pressed, the indicator's color toggles
between orange
and green.)
4) Press the POWER button. The green indicator lights and the function will
be executed. (After the function is executed, the printer will power off.)

You should be OK to do this once, next time it happens you must replace the
waste ink pads or there will be an ink overflow in the printer.

Thanks for the advice, however I cannot seem to get this routine t
work. After step 2 when I release both buttons it goes back t
blinking green then amber 6 times. When I power down at this poin
and restart the error pattern occurs again and the green indicato
will not come on solid at any point in the proceedings, therefore no
allowing me to carry out step 3

At step 2 is it correct that the led should go from green to amber an
back to green again when the resume button is pressed twice i
succession as instructed

Thank
