Hi,

I have been given several unused refill kits for Canon BC-01, BC-02 & BX-2
cartridges. Does anyone know if the ink for these cartridges is compatible
with the Canon BC10 cartridge, used in the Canon BJC-80 printer

Thanks,

Bob

I learn from this NG that it's better to use formulated ink, at the m
I use OEM in the Canon 5000 but one day I'll be applying to join th
ranks of refillers association

Got to appreciate a inkjet and a bubble jet, the delivery system ar
entirely different

A Canon has to boil the ink the air expands and burst the bubble, th
ink contents just gotta be different in my view, so geuss what I a
trying to say is universal ink is half ok for that and half ok fo
the other

A Epson say, relies on gravity and the nozzles vibrating to squirt th
ink, so in effect it's a 'cold ink

We are talking microns for the ink to pass, and a lot of things has t
be taken in consideration, thermal expansion viscosity for a start

Hope I am on the right path

My sources (Atlantic inkjet and OCP) say no.

Thanks for the response. I have been refilling cartridges on my last two
printers for some eight years now without any problems, but I was aware that
there could be a compatability problem with the ink.

Thanks again,
Bob
