report fails to open

we have had the database for a while and it does work on all other machines.
however for one user , recently upgraded to xp and office 2k3, although the
rest of the database (table and queries etc) does work, the existing reports
just hang when opened, and crash the whole of access. if i try to create a
new report with the office2k3 version, it still failes to open.
can you please help, it seems only connected to 2k3 office as our 2000
office versions can open the reports fine.
is there a fix we can apply.

Make sure the one user has a default printer defined in Windows.

thank you for your help
he did have a printer set as default in windows but only when i changed it
to another one it worked. i then whent back and made the original default
back to default and it stopped working again. so i then changed the driver
to PS from PCL 6 and its all singing and dancing .
