Reply Body Text Stripped Out

We are having issues with the text being stripped from the body of replies to
email. It looks as if the original email was simply sent back without any
comment or explanation at all. All of the information you'd normally expect
to see such as From, Date, To, Subject and body of the reply is simply not
visible!

This has only started happening recently and no software or hardware
configuration changes have been made at any of the workstations involved here.

Our email service is provided by Cox HSI business services - we do not run
our own Exchange server.

It gets stranger: send the email to a residential account and all appears
normal, then forward to our office from there and the reply to information
disappears!

All systems involved here are on Windows XP Pro/SP2 with all updates
current, and using Office 2003 Pro, with all updates current. In the case of
sending from residence into the office, Office 2000/Outlook 2000 was being
used at the residence.

Basic Question:
has anyone else seen situation where the information, including text body
has been removed routinely at the receiver's end when the send to was via
Reply To? We believe this is an issue with the email server rather than with
the workstations/Outlook 2003 setups, but I want to confirm it's not
something that may have been caused by some recent security update or similar
change.

UPDATE: seems maybe to do with the Outlook 2003 client on the workstations -
if the client is open, the reply to information and text disappears, shut
down outlook and pick it up on another email client from the same account
(leaving it on the server) and it is visible!

So now looks like possibly a recent Windows/Office update has done this?

Any clues, anyone? Yes - we even turned off the real-time anti-virus
checking of incoming/outgoing email in Outlook. No change.

Thanks to all that may have peeked in at this, shrugged their shoulders and
moved on to greener pasteurs. It is actually rather like "no news is good
news" to be honest.

It appears this may not (most like is not) an Outlook issue at all. It
appears to be a problem with the WebMail service provided by out ISP:

Test scenario:
Someone sends email to me (who has not been a part of the problem previously
described) and I go through WebMail client to view it and reply to it ...
sender gets reply indication, but nothing I typed in as a reply in the
WebClient shows up in the reply.

I then shut down WebMail client/web browser and open up Outlook 2003 and
reply to that same message thru it: now the original sender gets the reply,
can read what I put in it while in Outlook, but nothing typed in while in the
WebMail client is there.

Would have been nice if I'd grasped the fact that it was only webmail client
replies that were being stripped off. We're leaving our ticket open with the
ISP (Cox HSI Business Services).
