replied messages don't appear as replied

When I reply to a hotmail message in Outlook 2003, the mail icon does not
change to "replied to" even though the reply message is successfully sent and
in my "Sent Messages" folder.

This is not available for Hotmail messages by default. If you want this
feature for Hotmail messages as well you'll need to use the Outlook MSN
Connector. This is available when you subscribe to MSN Premium or Microsoft
Office Outlook Live (MOOL)

I've been looking for this fix for weeks....thank you! It now all works.

I have the problem of "no reply to" icon, but it is not only when replying to
hotmail e-mails. It happens with all e-mails I reply to. Do you mean that
this (which I thought it was basic functionality, but seems to be a premium
feature) happens when my account is a hotmail one?
