replaced files

i accidently replaced some picture files in my picture folder, is there anyway can get them back??

I assume that you had a file:
filename00.jpg
and you saved another file using the same name.
You received the message "filename00.jpg already exists, do you want to
replace it". You answered Yes.
If so, there is no way to recover the original.
If you did something else, let us know what you did and somebody will help.
