Greetings,

By accident I deleted file folders " My pictures" and " My music" from the
Start page.
How can I replace them? Click START and I should see "My Documents, My
Pictures, and My Music", all I have now is My Documents.

Have you checked your recycle bin?. It would be where they were if you
have not emptied it.

Sorry to say the bin is empty. Gone. After cleaning out some files I ran

"McAfee Quick Clean". Big bo bo on my part.

Ok, try this:

Click Start > Run > Type "regsvr32 mydocs.dll" (Without quotes) > Click
OK

Let us know how it goes.

Right click Start and choose Properties.
On the Start Menu tab click Customize.
Scroll down the list selecting what you want.

Thanks for your quick response. No luck. However, on rebooting the
"My Music" folder reappeared. (No "My Pictures")

Thanks yor your suggestion,
I did as you suggested and found the "My Pictures" folder checked but, it
still does not show on the list.
