My Documents-joining them

I got an XP Pro computer two weeks ago from friend with new harddrive. A
friend who is a tech at church transferred My Documents of: files, music,
pictures, etc. over to the new one. I now have old My Doc with my music,
pics and files; and new one! Is there anyway to put all the music together
and all the pictures together?

Could you not open bother folders to your desktop then 'highlight'
(holding control key down then left clicking on the particular files
you wish to move from the 'old folder to the 'new then grabbing the
last file/folder with your mouse slide them across to the 'new' folder?
