repairing outlook

Outlook has developed some problems that apparently can't be corrected per
the experts. I want to repair it or reinstall it. Does the repair Office
2000 mode under add/remove programs work to do this and will it possibly foul
up something else if I try this. Or could I reinstall Outlook somehow from
my Office 2000 disk without reinstalling the other programs with Office 2000?
I have Office 2000 completely updated with Windows XP. I have already saved
all my pst folders separately to reimport them into my new Outlook setup.

I would try the repair option first. If that doesn't fix the problem,
uninstall and reinstall Office. Use the Files and Settings Transfer
Wizard if you want to keep your current Office settings.
