Repair homepage

My friends homepage keeps reverting to something he doesn`t want regardless
of how many times it gets reset...there were a few viruses which I managed to
clean up but this thing I can`t do...also the unwanted homepage "sticks" or
won`t download other pages...any ideas please ?....He uses XP Pro

This is classic virus behaviour. I'm sorry, but you have not yet "managed to
clean it up". You may well need help from a specialist forum such as
http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30
Have a look there and follow the instructions EXACTLY.

sounds like theres still some spyware left on the computer. try running
something like spybot search and destroy. other than that just restore it to
just before the virus got on
