Repair help needed for dead links in IE6 search pane

As in the subject line above, whenever I do a search using the search
button in IE6, the links that come up in the search link are just dead.
I can click on any of them but nothing happens. If I search from the
address bar, all links that come up in Internet Explorer are good.

BTW, my default search engine has always been Google which I have
enabled using google.reg, but still the links in the search pane are
dead.

Also, if I open the search pane and click on Customize, I get an
"Internet Explorer Script Error" window with the following information:

Line: 125
Char: 5
Error: 'saOC' is unidentified
Code: 0
URL: http://ie.search.msn.com/en-us/srchasst/srchcust.htm

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

Buttons for Yes and No are present.

If I click either button, the error keeps coming back 2 more times then
I can only click the Cancel button in the Customize Search Settings
Window and I am back to where I started unable to change search engine
or anything else.

This started to happen after I decided to uninstall IE beta 3, which by
default returned my IE6, but with this problem.

If anyone know of a fix for this problem I would very much appreciate

For problem #1, try this:

Open Internet Explorer
From the Tools menu, click Internet Options
Select the Security tab, and click "Internet" zone
Click the "Custom Level" button available at the bottom

Under "Miscellaneous" section, set the following option to "Enable"

------------------------------------------------
| Navigate sub-frames across different domains |
------------------------------------------------

Click OK, OK to close the dialogs.
