Renaming personal folder under documents and settings

I made a mistake in the setup process and put my name in incorrectly. I want
to change the folder name but windows xp gives me the error message that it
is a system folder and can't be changed. What can I do to rename my personal
folder to the correct name (save reinstalling windows)? Please help!

Go to Start -> Control Panel and double click on User Accounts.
Create a new user account which has the correct name.
Create another temporary account which must be a Computer
Adminstrator.
Name this account something like Tempadmin.
Log on to your new user account.
Next, logoff and log back on with the Tempadmin account.
Following the procedure outlined in this article, copy the
contents of your old user account folder into the new user
account folder:

Pay attention to the note about how to retrieve the email
messages and address book from the old account. Don't delete
the old account until you've retrieved all the data you want to
keep.

Good luck
