Renaming a Domain?

I work for a company that has recently undergone a name
change. Our domain is currently Corp.oldname.com I want
to change this to Corp.Newname.com. Our DNS server is in
Mixed mode but we would like to move it up to native after
the name change.
Is there anyway to rename the domain without demoting the
server to NT 4.0 then Upgrading again to 2000?

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Again, this does not appear to relate to this forum's topic (NetWare and
Windows 2000).

I believe that if you upgrade to Windows Server 2003 you can rename the
Active Directory domain as long as you don't have Exchange installed.
