removing the actual email address from TO outgoing msgs

Just got new PC w/Vista. When sending email messages, the entire email
address is next to the TO name in outgoing messages. How do I format Windows
Mail so the email address doesn't show in the outgoing messages. Privacy
issues, ya know?

What's that got to do with privacy issues? The "TO" address will be in the
headers of the message so can still be seen....

Windows Mail will show both the contact name & the
contact email address. You can't change that.
If you send to multiple recipients, and don't want them to see each other's
email address, use the BCC: field.
If you don't see the BCC field, in the compose window, click on View - Show
All Headers.

If you used to put multiple email addresses in the To: or CC: fields in any
other email program, the recipients were able to see each other's address,
whether you saw it or not.

Privacy for whom?
If you are sending to multiple recipients, but don't want them to see
information about the other recipients, use the BCC addressing field.
