removing Spyware

i was visiting a web site and out of noting i start getting all sort of pop
up windows and icons on my desktop. it also changed my wallpaper to some
thing like " warning... your computer is infected". anyways i used adaware,
microsoft antispyware and zone alarm security suite to remove the spyware,
but my wallpaper is still the same and i can not change it. i know there is a
setting to lock this but where?

Try using Spybot: Search and Destroy.

If that doesn't remove it, post again.
