Use the Add/Remove screen (Start Menu> Control Panel >
Add/Remove Programs) and uninstall New.Net or NewDotNet
from there if listed. If it is not listed, follow these
instructions:

· From a computer that has Internet access, download
new.nets uninstaller:

http://www.new.net/support/uninstall6_76.exe

· Download and save uninstall6_76.exe to Desktop or Local
Disc C
· Click on Start.
· Click on Run.
· In the Open window type, C:\uninstall6_76.exe.
· Click on the OK button.
· After removal, you may be prompted to reboot. Please
reboot if not prompted.

If you have service pack 2 you can repair the Winsock
chain if not download LSPfix

If this is Windows XP SP2, try type this at a command
prompt(Start Menu>AllPrograms>Accessories>CommandPrompt):

netsh winsock reset

and hit enter.

If its not SP2 then download LSPfix

http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.zip

Extract and run and simply press "Finish" to rebuild the
LSP chain

I made a mistake there

Dont save to desktop if you use the run command as it
wouldnt be there, it would need to be saved to C:drive,
If you save it to desktop then double click the uninstall
file to start the removal program (it is safe) :)

Here's removal instructions from newdotnet

http://www.newdotnet.com/removal.html

The main reason for following thier advise and using the
uninstaller is so you dont lose your internet connection
but it seems you already have so your best using the
removal program or add/remove screen entry anyway then
repairing the LSP chain, or rebuild the LSP chain so you
can download the unistaller and the keep the instructions
safe incase you have further problems after removal.
