Removing an expired copy of WIN2000 Server

I primarily used Win98 SE on one pc, but loaded a copy of WIN 2000 server that had a 90 day expiration date for use. Unfortunately, I allowed WIN 2000 server to expire. Now it appears that though it's no longer active on the system it still comes up with the logon screen, but now I can't bring up WIN98 SE. I'd like to delete what's left of the WIN2000 server product in order to get back to OS WIN98 SE. Any clues on what I can do?

Thanks for whatever assistance you may have.

What exactly do you mean with "I can't bring up Win98 SE"?
Describe your boot process! What do you see?
