Remove

I'm trying to uninstall Windows Defender I go to Add Remove and when I click
uninstall I get the message "Invalid Drive:F:\
I have Norton 360 and I'm tring to install Version 2 but I must uninstall
Windows Defender.

If you are using Windows Vista you cannot uninstall WD
if not I believe Bill has an answer for you and when he sees this he will
type it

I'm not sure that thread will do the job but it is worth trying.

If it does not, I would try downloading and installing Windows Defender from
Microsoft-- www.microsoft.com/defender

and then doing the uninstall which should now work.

Seems counter-intuitive, but reinstalling will fix the issue with the
uninstall.

If you are going to use Norton, I'd follow their recommendations.
