Is there way to remove the popup blocker that is installed on IE 6.0 with
Windows XP service pack 2. I have turned it off but it's still not doing
what I want it to do. Is there a way to remove it?

Thanks
Lynn

Are you referring to SP2's pop-up blocker or its Information Bar? What's it
still doing that you don't want?

Yes the sp2 pop-up blocker. I usually delete all my cookies at the end of
the day and there is a website that I go to everyday that gives me a prompt
about setting up the pop-up blocker with the web address and/or about
accepting cookies. I have my first-party cookies to accept and third-party
Cookies with the always allow session cookies

Then it's prolly not the pop-up blocker causing the problem, Lynn.

Suggest disabling any firewall until cookies are working correctly. Make
certain your time, date, and time *zone* settings are all correct.

First thing to try is IE: Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Sites > type
in the domain (website, e.g., hotmail.com) and Allow Cookies.

...But is there a way to remove the popup blocker?
Im having problems getting the blocker to allow certain popups. In my
company we use a centralised email solution that is web based. The addresbook
is a popup, but is being blocked (on several machines) even though I have
added the email domain to safe domains, and turned off the blocker. The funny
part is, that in the lower window bar, it says "Popup allowed" even though it
is being blocked.

Please enlighten me in this matter!

Regards

Peter
