Remove Out of Office AutoReply: from subject line of emails

Is there a way to remove the text "Out of Office AutoReply: " from the
subject line of an email sent when I have my Out of Office feature turned on?
I would like to have this turned on ALL the time even when I am not out of
the office and this would be misleading.

Thanks.

Well, why would you like to keep it on? It only replies the first time you
receive a message from an individual (ie, each user mailing you would only
get a reply once), so it's usefulness as an auto-reply is limited.

And I forgot to add: No, you can't. You would have to use a normal rule.

F.H. Thanks for the reply. Good point about the auto reply only doing so
once. So, is there a way to set up a rule that would respond automatically
to any email received with a pre-written message?

Err, well, have you checked rule actions to answer it for yourself?

Also, what kind of mail server? Exchange? POP/IMAP?
