Outlook Autoreply feature for Intranet emails only

I have an idea to reduce spam. Basically, anyone who uses the Autoreply
feature in the Out of Office Assistant of Outlook will automatically reply to
spam, thereby validating your email address and resulting in more SPAM. I
think Outlook should incorporate a function where you can limit autorepies to
selected contact lists, address books, and/or email domains (like all emails
from lmco.com). I stopped using Autoreply for a few months and my spam was
significantly reduced, however that obviously creates a problem with my
colleagues when they don't realize I'm Out of Office and don't respond.

Actually, that's not likely at all, since most SPAM comes from bogus
addresses now.

Exchange, by default, does not send the OOA reply to external addresses.
Apparently your Exchange admins have changes that default setting. Ask them
to reinstate it.
