Remove not available in Folder Options, File Types, File Folder, Advance

Right clicking on a file folder gets me several options
that are not configured correctly and I don't want. When I
go to Control Panels > Folder Options and tab to File
Types, select File Folder and click the Advanced radio I
see (some of) those options. (The others are in Folder.)
However, my problem is that I cannot Remove. That is when
I select the problematic item, the Remove (and Edit...)
buttons are greyed. A some what similar problem is
detailed in the knowledge base #321186 and it seems the
answer (as always) is to regedit. First, I don't know in
this case what to regedit and second it would seem that if
anything I'd want to find out why those are 'protected'
and not removeable or editable and edit that.

To your second question you need to go to regedit to find out. See http://www.mvps.org/serenitymacros/rightclick.html and the File Types in Folder Options topic there.

You need to say exactly what you want to do, not generally what you want to do. BTW editing folders here can cause problems in the same area that you seem to want to fix. If your babbling is about that type in Start - Run
regsvr32 /i shell32

If refering to a KB article link to it. I'm not going to search if you can link.

These are technical groups and generalisations are don't cut it.
