Remove Holidays?

My calendar has multiple holidays listed. Something like twenty Halloweens,
Christmas, etc. How can I reset this to just one occurance for each holiday?

switch to group by category view and delete all holidays, then re-add the
holidays using tools, options, calendar.

How many items are in the category?

Try doing 20-50 at a time... try holding shift when you delete...

My problem isn't holidays, but another category created by a .csv
file I imported. When I try to delete from the Category view, I get
an error message: "The messaging interface has returned an unknown
error. If the problem persists, restart Outlook." But restarting
doesn't make any difference. Can you give me any clues about this
problem???

1057 items and even one at a time doesn't work. This is Outlook XP
10.4712.4219 SP-2.
